Unforgettable!

This trip was definitely something I'd recommend to everyone interested in pursuing a career in the veterinary field. You get to be fully immersed in Thai culture while learning from vets who have years of experience and wisdom. This wisdom is great especially when dealing with animals like elephants, which you have likely never encountered before, and may not get a chance to get this close again! The hands-on experience with dogs and cats is also valuable, as you may not get the same freedom to operate back home. Alongside the medical aspect, you also get to explore the ethical side of animal care, as you compare treatment methods between your home country and Thailand. You also have the opportunity to meet people your age, and gain inspiration from everyone around you. It was a fun, meaningful learning experience that I'll never regret.
