Free Spirit 2019

Coming to Free Spirit in the beginning of 2019 was the start of a process which helped me set foot in life again. It was the beginning of something special, spanning from expanding my comfort zone, to learning how to take responsibility.
I was directly confronted with the reality of life again, which I was shielding myself from the last few years. The diversity of projects and activities was brilliant, from working on the Fishfarm on the kibbutz, to meeting young Israelis who themselves, struggled to get a grip back on life. The process that I underwent was tough but it payed off every day, simultaneously creating a sense of self confidence. I wasn't sure what I should expect from living on a kibbutz, but I couldn't have wanted anything else, the communal living was a wonderful setting to get a fresh taste on life again
