The subject matter is thorough and well formatted. The regular use of short review quizzes is good for the student to keep on top of each unit of study.
As an inexperienced on-line learner, the course built my self confidence.
The presentation of teaching strategies is solid and sensible. However I suspect someone new to teaching might feel more reassured with some visual examples to illustrate the concepts. In my case this was not necessary as I am an experienced teacher, in fact I have mentored and tutored many first year placements and student teachers. This is their most significant field of self doubt. Usually the content is their strength.
As I said this course gave some very succinct and helpful advice on teaching strategies.

I truly believe this is a great course, it gave me a good rounding in grammar construction which as a science graduate was not a high priority during my undergraduate years. However as language and literacy became very significant in my teaching practice, this has been excellent reinforcement and I hope to be able to utilise the new learning as an on-line tutor, as travel is off the agenda in the current world pandemic status.
