Virtual Vietnam experience

The Spring break Virtual Vietnam trip was an engaging and joyous experience. Throughout the week, we dove into both cultural and health care topics in Vietnam and met many new friends overseas. Our leaders, Thuy and Amy, were available at nearly all hours, encouraging, and positive. I couldn't wait for the next meeting to see and hear from them again. We finished the week with a group project that allowed us to work with Vietnamese students and it was a pleasure to learn with and through them. It was challenging to work between two opposite time zones but incredibly fulfilling to meet this new group of people. I hope to see my new friends and Vietnam in person very soon.
