Frankadua: my second home!

Just wanted to make a post for anyone thinking of going to Ghana. I just got back a week ago and I was there for 5 weeks. Honestly the best experience! The IVHQ staff are amazing and meeting and helping my friends has been the best. I did the agriculture, teaching and medical outreach programs. I also played some sports and a couple of days childcare. It is very flexible and you can do more than one program at once. Joe Senakey was amazing and helped me fulfil all my goals within the programs, getting medical supplies, fundraising and building a water pump and building a house for my friend’s family. He is truly an inspiration and will take good care of you all! Due to Covid there were only three of us volunteering but it didn’t matter at all because I made so many friends with the locals. I will never forget my family in Frankadua and want to go back soon! So GO!! These people are beautiful and need our help so you may return broke but feeling rich in happiness ❤️
