Virtual internship in Dubai, UAE!

A few years ago, interning remotely was an opportunity that seemed entirely infeasible to me. However, with the help of Connect-123 and the amazing company I was placed with, I have gained an immeasurably valuable experience. At first, I was hesitant to intern with a company so physically distant from me, but the team was incredibly accessible to answer my questions and provide support in this new environment. I was able to join a company in Dubai, U.A.E. and gain valuable skills in advocacy work, research in a professional setting, communication across time zones, and even podcast production - something I never would have expected to enjoy so much! Beyond that, I was able to grow a global network of connections that I’m certain will continue to benefit me in the rest of my career. Connect-123 gave me an incredible placement for the Summer of 2021, one that I would never have been able to curate for myself. I am so grateful for this opportunity to stretch myself and unlock new professional passions.
