Ninja Teacher Online TEFL Program

Claire is an amazing instructor and very patient and kind!
I kept hearing vloggers say "Ninja Teacher is a great TEFL school and I feel confident to go teach after taking their course". I have never heard anyone say they feel confident after taking a TEFL course before so I became curious about Ninja Teacher.
Then when I saw that Ninja Teacher had an online course and then I read about the instructor's credentials I thought to myself "I have to sign up for this course so I can learn from her and get access to all the videos and materials in her course!"
I previously did a 168 hour online TEFL with a different company and I learned some stuff but mostly I just got good at writing essays but I did not feel like I was ready to teach. It was not very engaging, they only had one classroom video which was not that great and they did not ask us to really analyze different things the teacher was doing in the video like this course did. They had reflection questions at the end of many modules but they were not as good as the reflection questions in this course.
I learned a lot by answering all the questions including all the reflection questions in this course and clicking on all the recommended links.
This course had more recommended links with supplemental resources then the other course. The supplemental resources were great as well.
The other course actually had a lot of 3 minute videos also but they were just powerpoint presentations with some music in the background.
The other course had a lot of audio clips also but I find I learn better with video clips than audio clips. Even if it's just a video of someone talking with a powerpoint presentation the visual with the audio really helps.
The other course had a good amount of text and audio clips and 3 minutes powerpoint video clips. This course had 6x more classroom videos and the course slides were much better.
The other course listed some ideas for activities but did not give detailed instructions on how to do those activities. This course had a huge amount of pdfs with ideas for all different types of activities and how to do those activities.
The other course discussed behavior management theory and said it is important to keep the students engaged but did not go much into the practical application or techniques so I did not feel prepared to manage a class after their training. This course had a ton of information on different techniques and which levels to use them on, etc.
The other course did not ask me to create any lesson plans and I did not have an instructor review my lesson plans and give me feedback. This course had me do 3 lesson plans at 3 different student levels which was great and I was provided with feedback from the instructor.
For giving instructions they just said give clear instructions and showed us a video of a teacher giving bad instructions and said don't do that. This course gave me step by step instructions on how to give clear instructions and gave examples of good and bad instructions.
This course really focuses on the practical application of TEFL theories and techniques (step by step how you will do this in the classroom) whereas the other one was more theories with some tips and ideas.
This course also has weekly online zoom sessions where you can do peer teaching and message boards where you can actually interact with the instructor. My other course had none of that.
This course also had video assignments which made me improve my presentation skills. The other course had no video assignments.
After this course I feel ready to teach! I would definitely recommend the course to anyone looking to teach English!
