Melipona Bee project, Merida, Mexico

I volunteered for a month on this project, based in Merida Mexico. The volunteering was interesting, varied and fulfilling and the people running the placement were friendly and welcoming. The living accommodation was comfortable and spacious, and Oscar, the IVHQ project leader lived on site and was especially helpful and engaged. I supplemented the volunteering with Spanish lessons at the attached school which really enhanced my experience.I've done quite a lot of overseas volunteering and I found IVHQ professional and helpful in their communications
