Secrets of the Sacred Valley

I will remember this trip for the rest of my life. My partner and I planned to go 2 years ago, we actually won an Instagram contest haha but it was cancelled due to COVID. We finally made it happen April 23 - May 1! I remember sitting in a coffee shop, submitting our applications and being both nervous and excited with what was to come but the team at OG is extremely welcoming and genuine and truly wants to get to know you and see if the trip you're interested in is a good fit! The dates we went, the weather was beautiful. Super comfortable while acclimatizing in Cusco and a bit chillier in the mountains which is expected. We were in a group of 7 with 2 program leaders and it was so refreshing how open minded and curious everyone was to get to know each other and get excited for the rest of the trip together! Something I really enjoyed were the little surprises. You are given enough information on schedule for the day and what to expect the next day, but making energy bars, picking eucalyptus, planting trees, baking cookies, hiking 2 days to 5 different lakes in the mountains and so much more were beyond what I expected and such amazing experiences on their own. The itineraries online give a nice overview and broader schedule of what to experience, but believe that there is so much more to look forward to. Thank you Crunchy Friends!
