I was looking for a TESOL/TEFL course to help aid my CV abroad. At first I was hired without a certificate, but for my CV to stand out in the future [as well as for me to have studied and received official documentation as well as make more money!], I desired to complete a course. Honestly, Dux doesn't have a big online presence especially on Instagram so I was skeptical at first. I started with the 60 Hour training to get a taste of what it would be like. Dux pretty much fit into exactly what I needed - flexibility and a good value for my money with where I am in my life right now. I then dedicated a summer to complete the 120 Hour training. The lesson material was simple to follow and easy to pick back up when I spent some time away. I like being able to see the curriculum and chapter breakdowns as I went along. Some constructive criticism I will provide is that there is some bits of redundancy 'be sure' 'remember' 'ensure' 'always ensure' 'always remember' 'it is good to know' 'it is beneficial for you to understand' but this is just my opinion and in no way hindered what I had set out to accomplish. This course left me feeling empowered, encouraged and motivated for this career shift that is TESOL/TEFL. Since I have already had 1 year teaching abroad experience, I found most of this information to be true, helpful and will only aid me in being better next year!
