Teaching in Palawan

My best memories of teaching at Palawan was helping the quiet girls at the back of the grade 5 class with their mathematics. They all were doing really well and this was a surprise as they did not raise their hands in class. I found it to be a rewarding experience of teaching to provide positive support to the students.
No matter where we go or who we meet, we yearn for connection. I may have volunteered my time but I gained so much back with building relationships with kiddos, teachers,coordinators,and of course the other volunteers.
They all have left an imprint on my heart and soul even though our paths only crossed for a short time. My advise is to go for it if you are unsure about signing up as you will enjoy it more than you think! You will feel safe and be providing with interesting projects where you will feel connected to the Tigman community in a very short amount of time.
