An volunteer experience for all ages!

When I decided to take a career break in my mid-30s I wanted to volunteer abroad with a very hands on project. I found IVHQ and it hit every mark I was looking for! It is open to all ages (not just gap year students), there was a variety of projects, including an amazing construction project in the destination I was looking for. It was very quick and very easy to complete the applications and registration process. The online platform that walked you through step-by-step was easy to follow and user friendly.

I spent 3 weeks with Green Lion in Bali and it was without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life. I came as a solo female traveller in my mid 30s- with no plans! I met so many incredible volunteers from all over the world, at all ages and life stages, and made friends for life. The volunteer project (constructions) was absolutely amazing- it was more rewarding than I even imagined. The team was amazing and the project was so fun and rewarding. The entire staff at Green Lion are above and beyond wonderful & the highest of hospitality. They truly make you feel like family!

Upon completing my project, I only wish I had stayed longer! I would highly recommend using IVHQ to find your volunteer projects and I look forward to returning to them for my next one!
