Amazing sea turtle project in Bali

As a solo female traveller in my 30s and can 100% recommend this project on Nusa Penida, Bali! The co-ordinators are brilliant and do incredible work with the turtles. It was fantastic to work with the sea turtles every weekday (about 4 hours work a day) and magical to release them into the ocean. Many people there are young (18,19 on their gap years) but there were also people of varying ages and everyone was lovely. I upgraded to a private room when booking and that worked well for me. Book it, you won’t regret it!
