In regards to Shanghai. This was THE BEST experience I could have ever imagined having experienced such an ordeal in Singapore. Due to the fear of staying with a host family like  the one I had in Singapore, I decided to stay at a hotel instead. In Shanghai, LTL has an office in a building where the students are together and able to meet and bond during breaks and lunch. Granted the space was't big, but the common area was great!   The teachers were so professional, experienced and accommodating. Alex, the Shanghai Director, would organize fun activities on a weekly basis and since we all kind of knew each other, it was more inviting.  We had movie nights, Mahjong, Archery, hiking and much more.  All the teachers were so helpful to everyone, even when you are not their students. My teacher spent time teaching me how to cook tea eggs and make tea the traditional way. It wasn't just hit the books with characters and sentence structure, but a more cultural experience built into the language learning experience. Although it was only four weeks that I spent in Shanghai, I felt like I got three months worth, if not more.  I was able to walk into class full of energy and motivation because I was able to study in an air conditioned room with a desk. I really didn't want to leave and will truly miss the teachers and staff.  I highly recommend learning in Shanghai instead of Singapore. The culture and exposure was fully immersed as Singapore is an English speaking country whereas Shanghai is all mandarin.  It was a very memorable experience. Overall Shanghai's environment and people are much more helpful and accomodating.

At the end of the day, Singapore was a blessing in disguise. I am so glad I experienced Singapore, but that I left early. It was a terrible experience which I will post later on google as this reviews is just about the Shanghai team. The only thing that I thought could have been a little better is that the owner Andreas or Irene could have reached out to see how each student was doing from time to time. Just a quick email or FaceTime to see how a student is doing would be a kind gesture.  I understand they have different locations in different countries but it doesn't hurt to spend a few minutes to reach out to provide some service. Perhaps they only check in to new paying students...Andreas did that in Singapore but I did not hear from him once in Shanghai,.

I will be with LTL in Taiwan for another 4 weeks soon so I will give an update review afterwards. In addition, I signed my 10 year old child for a 4 weeks session in Taiwan this summer. Will let you all know how it goes just in case you decide to send your kids there.

Hope this helps.
