120-hour TESOL/TEFL certificate review from a South African ESL educator

The content shared seemed to me to be practically grounded, substantive, and valuable. I appreciated the multiple opportunities to test my understanding of the content shared through the many short quizzes.

The main issue I have is that the module devoted to online ESL teaching had nothing to say about screen sharing as a possibly preferred content sharing and skills testing modality to using physical props and physical background wall decorations after acknowledging the disadvantages of both. I would also have appreciated an indication of the prevalence of generic online teaching platforms - like Zoom, or Google classroom - versus online teaching platforms developed in-house, for ESL teaching.
