Jumping into the Essential TEFL course in Bangkok was like diving into the deep end—scary at first, but totally worth it! The first time I stood in front of a classroom, it was a mix of butterflies and 'wow, this is real!' I was teaching students from all over the world, which was as cool as it was challenging. But, thanks to heaps of prep work and super supportive instructors, I started to find my groove and actually enjoyed it.

One of the coolest days was 'Cultural Teaching Day'—imagine a day where everyone shares bits of their home through English lessons. It was a blast and really spiced up the learning vibe. Plus, the course was packed with all the nitty-gritty stuff you need to know to become a boss at teaching English, so I felt ready to tackle just about anything in the classroom.
Now, let’s talk location! super, super handy! The school's just a 10-minute stroll from the Lat Phrao subway station, making it easy to zip around Bangkok. Yes, the area gets a tad crowded and the workload can get intense, but that’s just part of the adventure. Sure, the job market in Bangkok is competitive, but with the skills I picked up, I was ready to stand out.
All in all, signing up for this TEFL course was one of my best decisions, educational and fun, with a dash of Bangkok’s hustle and bustle.
