The best semester with Barcelona & CEA CAPA

I spent the Spring 2024 semester abroad with CEA CAPA and it was easily the best 5 months of my life. Barcelona was my host city, and the program was the perfect place for me because it had everything I wanted - close to the ocean, Spanish-speaking, relatively inexpensive, major airport, hospitality & tourism specific programs. CEA CAPA provided the best study abroad experience, and made sure we were always supported on-site. From housing, to academics, to the unique activities and programming, the on-site staff in Barcelona run an excellent program - they are approachable, accessible, kind, and knowledgeable. I truly believe going with any other program I would not have had the same experience.
I was really happy with my housing and my roommates matches, which was great considering this was one of the aspects I was very worried about with study abroad. I lived in a Residencia, and there were many housing options available for different student needs.
