Aix, Ma Ville! ("Aix, My City!")

This title, "Aix, Ma Ville" is the tagline that you will see posted all around the city center of Aix-en-Provence. During my three and a half months in France, I absolutely found a home there. Not only was my internship extremely valuable for my resume, but it also allowed me to engage more deeply with the local culture and with my French language skills. Being in an office environment two days a week helped me get to know my coworkers over lunch break, and they were always willing to give me tips on life in France -- both professionally and personally. This was such an incredible experience, packed with professional experience related to my major, cultural immersion, travel, and finding new friends. A recreational tip: visit the markets! They run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, as well as a daily produce market that occurs in Place Richelme.
