Review
I did this and one other program, Brown in Bologna. They each had lots of merits, it just depends on what you’re looking for, and I’m sure that can be said about any program. I liked the IES staff a lot, Milan is a great city, and the dorm I lived in and locals I met were great. I look back on this experience with extreme fondness. I think it depends a lot on how you use your time. The courses are the least interesting part of the experience. What’s special is meeting people, getting a cappuccino in the morning, walking around the city, visiting restaurants and museums, and enjoying yourself as you explore Italian culture. Be active and intentional about it, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself as much as I did.
