My Personal Experience with The TEFL Academy

Deciding to get my TEFL certification was a big step, and after some research, I chose The TEFL Academy. Now that I’ve finished the course, I’m happy to share my thoughts with anyone considering it.

To start with, the course content was clear and easy to follow. It’s broken into sections that gradually build your knowledge, covering everything from grammar to lesson planning. What I really appreciated was how practical the advice was—it wasn’t just theory; it gave me ideas I could see myself using in a real classroom.

The tutors were fantastic. They were approachable, quick to respond, and their feedback on assignments was detailed and helpful. I always felt like they genuinely wanted me to do well, which made the experience feel much more supportive than I’d expected.

One of the best things about this course was its flexibility. As someone juggling work and other commitments, I loved being able to go through the materials at my own pace. That said, it does require self-motivation to keep on track, but the course design makes it manageable.
