I’ve been taking one on one lessons with That’s Mandarin for almost two years now and I’m so impressed with how my tutor has adjusted the curriculum and met my needs. Together we’ve analyzed Chinese poetry and prose and I’ve learned a lot about Chinese literature and literary devices. As soon as I express an interest in a topic, my tutor is quick to find material that dovetails with that. We’ve learned historical context about each piece as well which greatly enriches my understanding of texts. It’s already helped me embark on a career as a translator. Highly recommend!
