What an awesome opportunity - so many things to do, so many people to meet, so many cute kids to teach! I found TEIK very easy to communicate with and it was a very smooth transition moving to another country and starting a new job! There are many social and educational jobs to join to meet people and learn Korean. There are many other people here doing the same thing as you so it’s a very welcoming environment to be in. And the food is great! I’ve been placed in Daejeon and it’s a nice slower paced city with beautiful nature, and only an hours journey on the KTX to Seoul.
