A Valuable Cultural and Language Learning Experience

I had a great experience with the Chinese language program at one of China’s top universities. The classes were well-structured and the teachers were knowledgeable and supportive. The homestay added a meaningful cultural layer to my learning—I got to practice Mandarin daily and experience real local life. There were also regular cultural activities and excursions which helped me explore more of China.

The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that I wish the placement process for homestays had been a bit more transparent upfront. But overall, it was a rewarding and immersive program that I’d recommend to anyone serious about improving their Chinese and understanding Chinese culture.
