Wow! A New Career

I did my pre-course research, where I visited 5 different TEFL programs in the Bangkok area with a list of questions.

What really stuck out about Vantage was the amount of observed teaching practice I would do as an integral part of their course. For each of the six practice classes I taught, I first had to develop a lesson plan, source my materials, and then deliver the class in a Thai classroom.

I received amazing feedback after each class that really developed me as an effective teacher. I felt more comfortable after each class. I now feel confident enough to teach anyone in a classroom or even in a one-on-one tutoring session.

Vantage also really stood out in their job services. They taught me to create what they call a Power Resume—one that targets Thailand’s educational sector. They coached me on interviewing techniques and helped me develop my support documentation.

I got a job offer even before my TEFL course ended! And to top everything off, I also received help finding affordable, high-quality accommodation at a budget rent close to my new school.

I was able to secure an amazing salary for my qualifications. They even helped me formulate a long-term strategy so I could improve my qualifications to aim for even better-paid positions a few years down the road.
