Best experience ever!!

I had an amazing experience studying Japanese at Meiji Academy in Fukuoka! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff, who were always happy to show us around the city, give tips on the best places to eat, shop, or hang out, and suggest fun activities for our free time. Living in a shared house close to the school was a big plus – the neighborhood was quiet, comfortable, and it was easy to get to class.

One of the highlights was definitely the trips and events the school organized. We went on a trip to Yanagawa, where we took a boat ride through the old district canals – it felt like stepping back in time! In Fukuoka, we also had the chance to wear traditional kimonos and visit a beautiful shrine, which was such a special experience. These cultural activities really helped me connect with Japanese culture in a fun and authentic way.

The classes were engaging and well-structured, and the teachers were patient, supportive, and always ready to answer questions. The small class sizes meant I got a lot of personal attention, and the practical focus helped me build confidence and improve my language skills quickly.

Overall, I loved my time at Meiji Academy and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to combine learning Japanese with fun cultural activities and an immersive experience in Japan!
