I am so, so glad I took the CIEE 150 Hour TEFL Course. I took the course during my senior year of college, and now that I'm in the post-graduate era of my life, having my TEFL certification has opened so many doors for me. One of the things I loved about the course was their job placement assistance program. It was so simple to apply to jobs abroad right after completing the certification, with support that actually leads to real teaching opportunities. I utilized this job placement assistance program, and this coming fall I will be teaching English to elementary learners in Murcia, Spain! This was a huge perk of the course for me--once you get the certification, CIEE then also can help you find a way to use it and start teaching right away. The course was SO WORTH IT!

I also want to comment on how amazing the instructors and program overseers are. My instructor, Alix, did such a great job at explaining concepts, making our online sessions engaging, and always being open to answering my questions. The whole CIEE TEFL program is full of wonderful people who truly want to help you succeed. When I was looking at the course and was running into some questions, I expected to be faced with an unhelpful chatbot or going days without responses, but this was far from the case. Any time I had a question or concern, a real person was there to help. My phone calls and emails were always answered promptly, and through conversations with the CIEE TEFL staff, meaningful connections were formed, as well.

I can't say it enough--this course was worth every penny and every minute of time. Getting your TEFL certification will open so many doors and allow you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of English learners, and you'll get to learn from them, too:)
