I just finished my 120-hour TESOL course, and honestly, I feel super proud and grateful for this learning experience. When I started, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I thought it was going to be overwhelming or maybe too technical, but I was completely wrong. The modules were well-structured, easy to follow, and very informative. They made the whole process smooth and enjoyable.

What I liked most was how the course balanced both the theoretical part of teaching English and the practical techniques. It wasn’t just boring definitions or rules. The lessons explained real-life classroom situations, classroom management tips, and how to handle different types of students. It really prepared me to step confidently into teaching.

The grammar section, I won’t lie, was a bit challenging at first because even as someone who speaks English, breaking it down to teach others is a whole different thing. But the way they explained it made it so much easier to understand and teach. I learned how to simplify things for learners without confusing them.

The parts about motivation, learning styles, and lesson planning were super helpful. I honestly didn’t realize how important it is to understand students’ backgrounds, goals, and the ways they best learn. It really opened my eyes to how teaching isn’t just about talking in front of a class but actually connecting with students and helping them achieve their goals.

The quizzes were fair, and they really helped me check my understanding after each module. There were times I had to review a few lessons because I missed a couple of questions, but it was helpful because it pushed me to actually master the topic rather than just memorize it.

Another thing I really appreciated is how flexible the course was. Life gets busy sometimes, but being able to study at my own pace made a huge difference. I didn’t feel rushed, and it gave me time to really absorb everything I was learning.

The examples they gave for lesson activities were really practical. I actually saved a lot of ideas that I’m excited to use when I start teaching. From warm-up games to grammar drills to creative speaking exercises, it was full of useful ideas.

I also want to mention that the course touched on how to teach different age groups, which is super helpful. Whether teaching kids, teens, or adults, there were tips and strategies for each group. I feel more prepared now to adjust my teaching style based on who my students are.

Overall, I would say this course exceeded my expectations. I feel more confident, more prepared, and honestly more excited about starting my teaching journey. I used to think teaching English would be difficult without experience, but this course gave me a solid foundation.

To anyone who’s thinking about taking this TESOL course, I 100% recommend it. It’s beginner-friendly but also thorough. It’s not overwhelming, and you will come out of it with real skills that you can use whether you’re planning to teach online, abroad, or in a classroom.

Thank you to the TESOL Academy for providing this amazing opportunity. This is definitely a big step forward in my career, and I’m excited to apply everything I’ve learned. I’m really proud of this achievement and looking forward to what’s next in this teaching journey.
