Absolutely Life-Changing

This program was a fantastic way to explore potential interests in sustainable energy (for me: geothermal energy specifically!) while also getting the full experience of a country as beautiful and geologically unique as Iceland. I made friends with everyone in the program and got to learn from them as well as, if not more than, from the lectures and tours. Working together on the capstone taught me new ways to approach group work and trust the people around me. The outdoor experience was incredible, especially the hot springs and the waterfalls! My physical capabilities were definitely pushed, which added to the sense of achievement that I got from this program overall.
