My TESOL/TEFL Course Experience

I didn’t expect the TESOL/TEFL course to make such a real difference for me, but honestly, it was better than I hoped. Right from the start, the materials felt practical and focused on real teaching—not just theories you quickly forget. I learned about a variety of teaching methods, and what stood out was how clear and relatable everything was. The course doesn’t just give you ideas; it shows you exactly how to use them and why they matter in actual lessons.
What I really appreciated is that most of the content is genuinely useful. There are resources, examples, and tips I know I’ll return to again and again, especially when I begin applying for teaching jobs. The advice about how to get started in the field, where to find positions, and what employers really look for was probably the most valuable part—it felt like someone was actually guiding me, not just lecturing.
One of the best things is that the tutors are always ready to answer any questions or help out if you need them (although, in my case, I didn’t have any questions because the course is written in such a clear and understandable way). This made the experience feel supportive and accessible.
I don’t just feel more knowledgeable—I actually feel ready and excited to take the next step and teach abroad.
