Na zdraví!

I did the 2 month study abroad + internship program in Prague, Czech Republic. This program solidified my decision to apply for European citizenship. The pre-departure process was very straightforward with lots of support along the way. The courses that CEA CAPA offered were extremely diverse, for instance my class visited the communist museum as well as a traditional Czech brewery towards the end of the program. I lived in a shared apartment across the river from the city central, which is a quieter area but still very historical and well-connected to the rest of the town. I interacted with local Czech people both in and outside of my internship office nearly all day, every day, which I greatly appreciate. Traveling around both the city and the entire country is extremely easy and affordable with trams, buses, and trains. The on-site programs staff are extremely supportive, available, and understanding of all circumstances. Initially, it was a little difficult to adjust to the language barrier, but local Czech people are very friendly and learning a small amount, but important, key phrases go a very long way. I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone!
