Memories for Life

I am so grateful for my time abroad. My internship boss was flexible with my school schedule and my travels so that I could work whenever possible. It was about a 30 minute bus ride over to the internship site - 3 days in person 2 remote. I was expected to work 20 hours a week which was fine, but expect to have much less free time than your peers. I think I benefited more from the cultural immersion that the internship provided rather than the actual work I was doing. Something challenging for me was that I came to Barcelona solo and it seemed like a lot of people came with groups of friends. It took me a second to find my people, but once I did, it was amazing to travel with them almost every weekend and experience the great city of Barcelona.
