Professional Internship Abroad

Coming to New Zealand for a professional internship was a chance to reconnect with the joy of living abroad; blending travel, cultural immersion, and meaningful work. Internex supported me throughout the placement process, helping me secure a role at a government training college that aligned well with my educational background. One of the highlights of my stay was opting for a homestay with a lovely local couple who made me feel instantly at home. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine interest in my experience turned everyday life into something special. Renting a car was straightforward and gave me the freedom to explore the region’s natural beauty, while the homestay provided a sense of belonging that made settling in effortless. Living here has reignited my curiosity and appreciation for diverse ways of working and living.
