Alicante was a once in a lifetime !

I loveddd Alicante. My host mom was amazing, and the whole class really bonded over our activities. We went during las hogueras, and it was one of the most fun nights I have ever had. The food is so yum and the culture of walking everywhere, spending meals together, and having siestas is very refreshing and relaxing. Coffee is also so cheap haha. There is not really any A/C, but you get used to it... almost. We were provided all of our meals which was such a nice bonus. Also, make sure to check out San Juan/ the locals' beaches. Sometimes the one closest to the pier was extra crowded. The further away you go the calmer the scene is! Another bonus is public transportation! Sooo nice and convenient to use. Make sure to grab a pass for the duration of your stay or just throw some rides on a card.
