An extremely effective and fun way to learn Mandarin and experience China

I didn't know exactly what to expect before CLI, but a few months later, I am still thinking about and reminiscing on my wonderful experience learning Mandarin in Guilin. The 1-on-1 instruction is ideal and allows you to learn at your own pace. My teachers really cared about my development and went above and beyond to help me learn.

The city is welcoming and not an overwhelming adjustment. The program provides various activities that allow you to explore different parts of Chinese culture and the city of Guilin. It was also very cheap to live there as a United States citizen because of the strength of the dollar.

You're always well taken care of at CLI, and it feels like there are a lot of people there to help you. I met plenty of interesting and lovely people who became quick friends. I would love to come back someday.
