2 Weeks at CLI

I had the opportunity to visit CLI in March of 2026. The program was worth every penny. My three professors catered my learning to what suited me best and helped me fix grammatical mistakes I had been struggling with for years. The daily 4 hours of class helped me rapidly improve and within 2 weeks I finished HSK2 and got nearly half way through HSK3.

The environment there is also amazing. All of the students I met there were incredibly friendly and shared my goal of learning Chinese. The activities with CLI really helped foster these connections with fellow students.

Guilin is also a great place for learning Chinese. There is rarely English translations and most people only speak Chinese or the local dialect so it forces you to use what you are learning.
