Awesome experience for international students!

As an international student in the US, I didn't initially consider studying abroad since I was already "abroad." I thought it better to stay in the States, build my resume, explore the country, etc. However, this program completely changed my mind, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone!

You get to escape the winter weather (which, around Chicago, is quite brutal), explore probably one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and meet people from all over the world. Sydney is much more multicultural than I expected, and it's truly the perfect mix of a big urban artsy city + beach town + stunning national parks.

Specific to people studying any discipline in mental healthcare, my internship experience in Australia was likely more meaningful than anything I could have obtained as a psychology undergrad in the States. There are plenty of excellent research centers that allow you, as an intern, to gain hands-on clinical experience and academic publications. Anyways, all in all a great program!!! Can't recommend enough :)
