Life in Japan as an English teacher

I've been living in Japan as an ALT (assistant language teacher) for the past 6 years. I've enjoyed the country, the culture, the people, the food, and many other aspects. The job itself is fun, and I enjoy talking with the students. The company, Interac, is very supportive, and the working hours are nice. They help set you up with living in Japan, and after that you can enjoy your school life teaching and talking with the students. Overall, this isn't a job you can retire on, but if you're looking for a way to live in Japan, and you enjoy helping students learn, then it's a great chance to share your cultures together and experience life living abroad.
