UNT ASLP Belize 2026

This trip was so impactful. I learned so much about actually implementing the things I learned in the classroom to a real-life therapy session. I loved getting a cultural perspective from all of our excursions. This trip has been so helpful for me to understand how meaningful and fulfilling speech therapy is for myself and the clients we see. It was interesting to see evaluations as an undergrad student. Also, I liked that I was able to become independent by planing my own therapy sessions and writing my own documentation.
