About Program

Join one of our Anwarter ski instructor courses in Austria this winter. Become a highly qualified Level 2 Anwarter instructor before moving on to start your guaranteed job in an Austrian ski resort.

Our course is based in the stunning resort town of Kaprun (90 minutes from Salzburg). Kaprun is a hub for 3 local mountains.

We have three courses each season, beginning in November, January and March. The Nov course is 6 weeks, Jan is 5 weeks and March is 4 weeks.

The course is examined in German meaning that, for most people, you get to learn a new language on this course. Don't worry, 75% of applicants have never studied German and we have a 100% pass rate on the language element of the course.

If you are wanting to maximize your working time, we recommend taking part in one of the earlier courses to leave most of the season to work.

To be eligible you need to have at least 4 weeks ski experience and be eligible for an Austrian working holiday visa.

Impact

Sustainability

Oyster Worldwide is passionate about the importance of responsible travel. We want our projects to fit in with the local way of life, without having a negative impact on the environment, culture or economy. This means that we will only send participants to places where there is a real need and where we have been asked to work. Once there, they should fit in with the community, respecting their way of life and supporting, rather than taking, local jobs.
