About Program
This program is ideal for students who need a break before or from college to reassess their well-being and connect with their inner needs. The Wellness Sabbatical or Gap term is about balancing the benefits of traveling to another country and engaging in light academic activity, personal coaching, and lots of activities to immerse in self-discovery and adventure.
Veritas partnered with the Supportive Immersion Institute to offer a program that balances a light academic load with coaching sessions, extracurricular activities, intercultural immersion, and adventure.
The only "required core course" is Sustainable Lifestyles: 9 dimensions of Healthy Living (4 credits). An impactful 4-credit course to gain skills in designing your Healthy Lifestyle Plan to take home and continue thriving. This course is an essential part of this self-discovery journey.
You can choose a flexible schedule of activities, service, coaching sessions, dance, yoga, cooking, and Costa Rica exploration.
