Price Details
Our Gap Year Fees include all your class costs but excludes accommodation + meals. We also have suppliers of furnished & serviced accommodation close to the studio + in -house options for students from abroad. The fee is for our longest program - the Gap Year. Contact us for info re the shorter programs.
Accommodation is shared. You may however book a single unit, fully furnished + serviced should you require.

As part of our introductory Post-Covid Package Promotion, we're discounting the program costs by 25%.until 15 Jan 2023. A 50% Payment secures your booking. The remainder due by 15 FEB. T&Cs apply.

Includes 4 weeks of studio hot-desking time to complete 12 project garments, 15 SewAlongs, printed patterns, printed notes, brown paper, video recaps of class contents. All our classes have haberdashery + sample fabrics included so no need to bring anything. We provide it all.

About Program

Are you keen on a career in fashion design?
Did you know that roughly 2 thirds of students embarking on studies in fashion, drop out and never graduate?
It is therefore absolutely vital to have some experience in sewing prior to studying fashion.
On our Gap Year program, you will learn all about what it means to be a fashion designer, from sewing, pattern making, design concepts to work ethics, digital design & sew much more. You will learn in a beautiful studio setting, at the foot of Table Mountain!
