About Program

This expedition will take you north of the Arctic Circle in Norway and Sweden. You will travel on the tundra in 24-hour daylight above the tree line on one of oldest mountain ranges of the world, the Scandes. As you learn the basics of backpacking and outdoor living in fast-changing weather, you'll also connect with the traditions of the indigenous Sami people and Scandinavian culture. For a summer journey that will take you to the roots of Europe and yourself, this is the course for you.
