About Program

Spend six or twelve weeks in Arusha, Tanzania, combining a hands-on early childhood education internship with accredited Global Citizenship learning, cultural immersion and adventure.

Work alongside Tanzanian educators supporting children aged 2–6 through play, creativity and early learning while building the relationships needed to contribute meaningfully. Beyond your placement, join your cohort for Global Citizenship and ethical volunteering workshops, personal development, Swahili, cultural activities and a collaborative Legacy Project.

Tanzania becomes part of the classroom, with weekly adventures, cultural experiences, safari and, on the 12-week program, a Zanzibar escape built in. Live and travel alongside an international cohort while completing a Level 3 Diploma in Global Citizenship in Community Development.

It’s a chance to live, learn, contribute and experience Tanzania far beyond the typical gap year!
