Are you an Australian or New Zealand Citizen? Are you a current full-time student studying on campus at TAFE, college or university and looking to defer? Have you graduated from TAFE, college or university within the last 12 months? Have you graduated from TAFE, college or university within the last 12 months?
Program Eligibility & Information
Participants of the J-1 12-Month Work & Travel Pilot Program must fit within the requirements created by the US Department of State for this program. This program allows students and graduates from Australia and New Zealand to enjoy a work/travel experience in the USA for up to 12 months.
• Available only to Australian and New Zealand citizens
• Available to full-time on-campus students, deferred students or recent graduates from a University, College or TAFE
• If you are a 'recent graduate', you must enter the USA no more than 12 months past the graduation date on your Certificate or Degree
