About Program

Spend your school year or semester in Canada! Live with a host family and attend school, choosing from subjects like French, English, Science and Mathematics along with electives in Athletics, Arts, Business and Languages. Canada holds itself to a high level of education with exceptional teachers who will challenge you academically.

Outside of school, you and your host family might visit one of the many art museums or play one of the country’s national sports - ice hockey or lacrosse. Also popular are sports like golf, swimming, equestrian, and badminton. Canada is known for producing maple syrup, but your host family might also introduce you to delicious butter tarts or poutine.

Whether it’s exploring Niagara Falls or witnessing the snowy mountains and beautiful landscapes of Banff National Park, Canada will offer you memories of a lifetime!

This program is currently not being promoted on Go Overseas by its provider. Check with Youth For Understanding (YFU) for the most up-to-date information regarding the status of this program.
