Costa Rica: Marine Conservation & Sea Turtle Expedition
- Costa Rica
About Program
This two- or three-week program is quite possibly the best way to experience Pacific Costa Rica while making a difference on projects that promote wildlife conservation. Live in two (or three, depending on program duration) small communities along the country's west coast, splitting your time between assisting on conservation-centered volunteer initiatives and exploring the lush jungles and expansive beaches that make Costa Rica one of the most visited (and biodiverse) regions in the world. Learn from local leaders about the issues facing threatened species and how organizations like theirs are working to combat them.
Service Hours: 14-day program = 35 / 21-day program = 50
Program Theme: Animal & Wildlife Conservation / Environmental Stewardship
