About Program

Set out on an immersive journey through Ecuador that blends meaningful community engagement with exploration of the Galápagos’ extraordinary ecosystems. Your experience begins in a rural highland community, where you’ll live alongside local residents and support sustainability efforts such as reforestation, community gardens, and local food initiatives within the surrounding cloud forest. From there, continue to Quito to discover the capital’s historic center, vibrant neighborhoods, and panoramic viewpoints with guides who know the city intimately.

The adventure continues to the Galápagos Islands, where you’ll visit destinations like Santa Cruz and Isabela while following National Park guidelines designed to protect this remarkable environment. Guided snorkeling excursions offer the chance to observe sea lions, turtles, and other marine life, while land visits reveal giant tortoises and marine iguanas in their natural habitats. Complete around 12 hours of meaningful service.
