A homestay with a local host family who is looking forward to including you in their day-to-day life. You will get the most out of an immersion program if you are engaged, curious, and open to all the family activities.

Opportunities to meet local teens, either in your home or in the extended family or neighborhood, who are eager to spend time with you and and share cultures.

Support from the local coordinator who will be available throughout your stay to help you make the most of your homestay experience

About Program

Enjoy experiencing Spanish culture from an insider's perspective! This program offers you the chance to live with a Spanish host family who will invite you into their daily life and their circle of friends. You'll participate in shared meals, family gatherings, local festivals, and more… all in Spanish, of course!

You can choose your own dates and stay for two to four weeks. You will be met by a local program representative at the airport and escorted to your host family. From then on, you will eat, sleep, and play like the Spanish do. Throughout your stay, you will have the support of the local coordinator.

I went to Spain in July 2016 and I already can't wait to go back. I made so many friends and had the best experience there. I stayed with a family who were extremely welcoming and never failed to make me feel at home. I went on vacation with them and hung out with there friends! It felt like I was really truly apart of the life there and that's what I most enjoyed. I love knowing that now when I go back I have my own ties to the country and I'll have friends all around. It was a little scary at first but that's only because it was something knew, it ended up being completely worth it and I'm so happy I found this program

What would you improve about this program?

To be honest I don't really know. I thought it was perfect the way it was! They give you the right amount of freedom to really feel independent but are always one call away! I would not change a thing
