About Program

On this high school summer program, you'll go from New York to Denmark, a country that has a significant influence on the field of design, and immerse yourself in cutting-edge design and sustainability. Start in New York by going to the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, which is the only museum in the country devoted to both historical and modern design. Extend your horizons to urban design and innovations in the use of city spaces, then travel to Denmark to meet with architects, engineers, artists, and makers, and get a firsthand look at how the principles of sustainability can be incorporated into all aspects of design, from user-centric technologies to urban planning.
