About Program

40K Globe is a one month internship in rural India; working with local communities and NGO's to develop sustainable, grassroots solutions to global development issues. Globers spend one month living in a team of 5-8 like-minded students whilst working on a social impact project. 40K's Impact Projects address issues such as WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), education, energy and food security.

40K Globe Interns (or as we like to call them - Globers) gain international, cross-cultural work experience and first-hand exposure to development issues in Asia. As an Australian based company, internships run four times per year in alignment with the semester breaks of most Australian universities.
